Directed by Yasmina Ramzy, Earthshakers Dance Company is an ensemble of female dancers with more of everything, who celebrate the joy of voluptuous, bodacious dance since 2010. This powerful ensemble is full of robust bodies, personality and attitude with a repertoire of over 20 choreographies. Some are fun and vivacious, some with socio-political statements, and all celebrating body love.
Since Earthshakers debut in 2010 at the International Bellydance Conference of Canada they have been invited to perform in numerous venues and events including Body Positive Conference, Queens Park Canada Day Celebrations, the CNE International Stage, Harbourfront’s Kick Up Your Heels Festival and Habari African Festival. Where ever they perform, they rock the house with joy.
